Police still haven’t determined who is to blame for Friday afternoon’s collision on the Northern Highway, involving NBA player Kenyon Martin and rapper Trina.
As we showed you on Friday, the Ford Excursion the star couple was travelling

in was side swiped by a minivan at mile 8 on the Northern Highway. At the time the couple was being escorted by a police mobile with flashing lights. Witnesses say the problem was that the mobile was overtaking traffic and forcing vehicles heading to Ladyville - off the narrow stretch of the Northern Highway.
One vehicle which didn’t have time to steer off the road was the minivan driven by George Abraham with his 9 and 12 year old sons inside. The father and his sons had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. Trina and Kenyon Martin were in the backseat of the Excursion and they were unhurt. The excursion’s driver J.A. Jex told us on Friday that he received a minor injury to his hand.
Police Press Officer Clemente Palacio says they are waiting until George Abraham is released from the hospital to get a formal statement – after which they will make a determination as to who, if anyone, is at fault.
Kenyon Martin and Trina arrived for Saturday’s Hip-Hop for Peace Basketball Tournament organized by Youth for the Future. Youth for the Future’s Dianne Finnegan says it went off without a hitch. The couple will leave the country on Wednesday.
