Tonight, we begin with news of a disturbing video that has been making the rounds on social media. A young boy, maybe around 10-years-old, is heard speaking plainly about the sexual abuse he has endured from persons in the neighborhood.
In the shocking 4 minute narration, he goes into detail about having to perform oral sex on one teenager who threatened to shoot him if he told anybody. He also admits to being raped by another man. The persons behind the camera keep questioning him about the incidents, and seeming to not know he is being captured on camera, answers in a seemingly joking manner.
The video has caught the attention of the Commissioner of Police, who issued a statement via Facebook today. He said that they are vigorously investigating the video since it is an obvious case of child abuse. The ComPol is also asking for those who posted or shared the video to take it down as it adds to the hurt and humiliation of the child.
