A COVID situation at the Tax Department has reportedly led to employees from the accounts department staging a sick out and the audit department staging a walk out. Sources tell us that the department has three confirmed COVID cases, and over ten suspected cases where persons claim they have lost their sense of taste and smell and are exhibiting flu-like symptoms.
The employees are appealing to the authorities to take the time to properly sanitize the building. This follows the death of an employee from the Orange Walk Branch, Mario Gonzalez.
