Next week Wednesday, Belize will join the rest of the world in celebrating International Anti-Corruption Day. And, the Public Service Unions is calling on public officers and members of the general public to join them on an awareness campaign for 7 days on why Belizeans need to continue standing up against corruption in public life.
They say that you can show support for their efforts by simply including (HASHTAG) #BzUnitedAgainstCorruption and #RecoverWithIntegrity on your social media posts.
The union is also calling out the Briceno Government to start implementing the anti-corruption features they promised in their Plan Belize manifesto.
They are also asking public officers to help them fight corruption by providing evidence or disclose instances of corruption in the public service that is threatening the employment and economic stability of public officers.
