And while Morris' family hopes for justice for their loved one, the family of 45-year-old Omar Kantun has received that justice. Police have arrested Kantun's common-law wife, 53-year-old Lesbia Alvarez, for his murder.

Kantun's body was found on his bed in his Silk Grass home on Friday morning with 56 stab wounds, 44 of which were in his back. Police's investigation has led them to believe that this was a crime of passion committed by Alvarez. Here's more from the head of National Crimes Investigation:

ACP Joseph Myvette

"Police officers have since arrested and charged Lesbia Alvarez, 53 years also of Silk Grass village for the crime of murder as well as immigration-related offenses."

"There is not a history of documented abuse with the police but as a part of the investigation that is being looked at, the neighbors have been spoken to but those abuses have never been reported to the police."

"Obviously it started with a domestic dispute earlier on Friday, on Thursday actually, Thursday night on Friday morning when the police were called to the scene that was the result of Kantun being found with multiple stab wounds."

Last week, we brought you an interview from Kantun's neighbor who said that she had witnessed Alvarez mistreating Kantun regularly. The week before his death, Kantun reportedly told this neighbor that he was suspicious of Alvarez.

Voice of: Neighbor
"This man is a peaceful, peaceful person, this man, he is so calm, he always want make peace, but she is always quarreling with the man like she obsess over the man and I tell him, he say he is going through domestic problem with this woman and I tell him, Omar you could always walk away."

"I spoke to Omar last week Thursday because they had an incident here with she and I told him what went on and from then he watch this lady, he said this lady is very deceitful."

Kantun was a Forestry Officer and had moved to Silk Grass Village back in November.
