Last night you heard from the former partner of noted gang figure Winston "Tanga" James. Exactly one week ago today James was slain while driving his Nissan Pathfinder on East Canal. His partner, Mary Beth Wade was also shot, but she survived with just a graze.
Still, Mary Beth has called this, the hardest week of her life. That's because apart from being named a suspect in the investigation of Tanga's death she's having to search for jewelry and other items that she says were stolen from her vehicle. Here are the details she provided to 7News yesterday.
We reached out to Commissioner Chester Williams for comment on this allegation and via text he didn't flat out deny, but said it's not something he has much information on. He told us that he'd provide a comment once he can be briefed on the matter.
