Can Co-Op’s Social Media Savvy

Tonight, members of Belize's Cultural Co-ops have become a lot more social media savvy and they've got the completion certificates to prove it.

That's due to a digital literacy training provided by the Heritage Education Network and funded in part by the Taiwanese embassy in Belize.

I stopped into the program's closing ceremony this morning to get a first hand look at the colorful crafts, painted pottery and cultural elements that are now much more visible, even outside of Belize.

The Heritage Education Network's digital literacy training was carried out over a 10week period.
