And while Banner died young, another fatal accident, this one in the north, claimed the life of a 69-year old Krispin Moreno Fransisco on Sunday.

It happened at around 7:12PM when Fransico was crossing the road near a Chinese store when he was knocked down by a Ford Ranger pickup driven at the time by Carmelita resident Kedy Rhaburn.

The cops told us what they know so far this morning.

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer
"Sometime around 7:15 on the 3rd of July police visited a scene in Orange Walk where Cady Rhaburn reported to police that he was driving his Ford Ranger pickup on the Philip Goldson Highway. He is saying that when he reached in front of a chinese store. One Feliciano Mendoza, 69 years old, was crossing the road and he tried to avoid hitting that person. He is saying that he hit that person and that person was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where that person succumbed to his injuries. I know that police have since detained Rhaburn pending charges of that fatal accident."

As you heard Rhaburn was asked for a urine sample. He is currently detained in connection to this fatal accident.
