The investigation into irregularities at the Immigration Department continues - but, publicly at least, there is still no clarity on how 9 Chinese arriving in the country last week had permanent residency cards without having ever set foot in Belize before.

The immigration department has been mum, but the commissioner elaborated slightly on how police have been brought into the investigation:
