He is the stepfather accused of abusing three siblings and killing one of them, a 3 year old. And today a judge ruled that Kenrick Leslie must serve 15 more years for manslaughter and 3 years for wounding 1 of the 2 surviving brothers.

Today Justice Derick Sylvester ordered that Kenrick Longsworth's sentences are to run concurrently and his 4 years on remand for the 2020 crime should be deducted, leaving him with 15 more years to serve for manslaughter.

The children's mother was seen crying at the courthouse, but she left immediately after hearing the sentence.

Longsworth was initially tried for murder and two counts of attempted murder but was found guilty of manslaughter and guilty of wounding and not guilty of attempted murder for one of the 2 surviving boys.

The boys were aged 4, 3 and 2 at the time of the incident on Lovely Lane in Belize City. In his defence, Longsworth admitted to beating the 3 year old, but denied causing his death and blamed the child's death and other injuries to his brothers on their mother.
