A few weeks ago we told you about a teacher in the Corozal District who was accused of rape and sexual assault against a student. Well, tonight it's a principal that stands accused - and the student he allegedly abused is 13.
The 13 year old minor, in the company of her mother, filed a report at the Gender Based Violence Response and Investigation unit this week, claiming that in April of this year she began to communicate with her principal via Whatsapp. It led him to sexually assault her on 3 separate occasions on the school grounds between May and June, one of them being in the school's storage room. The principal, 53 year old Ever Lucas the principal of Christiline Gill Seventh Day Adventist Primary School was arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault and one count of child luring.
