One Highway, Two Vehicles Flipped Sixty Miles Apart, No Major Injuries

No one was seriously hurt when a Ministry of Immigration vehicle flipped this morning at 10:00 on the George Price Highway. It happened at mile 18 and a half where a JAC pickup was overtaking when it reportedly got clipped on the bumper, lost control, flipped on the side of the road, and landed upside down. Police will investigate to determine who is to blame. The accident caused traffic to be backed up for some miles.

And, much further up that highway heading to Benque Viejo, security video shows a taxi flipping over multiple times and landing back on all four wheels - sweeping to a reverse stop inside the gas station - in a move that would make even a stuntman applaud. It happened near the Mopan Gas Station, heading towards Benque.
