As we told you at the top of the news, Customs impounded Mike Feinstein's Beechcraft King Air 90 today. According to a written communication from the Customs Department that 7News has seen, it doesn't look like he's going to get it back any time soon, at least not without a fight. The letter says quote, "Customs and Excise department will retain custody of the airplane until the dispute regarding the sale is fully ventilated in the court. When a final adjudication has been determined and an order issued by the court, the status of the airplane's presence in Belize will need to be addressed with Customs by the person or entity deemed by the court to be the lawful owner thereof." Feinstein told us that he saw it as straightforward and he intends to go in on Tuesday to renew the insurance bond. We'll keep following it and see where it goes.
