The Spirit of Sinach In Belize

It's holy week - as they call it - and the Belize City Council is hosting a revival, not a political one, but a spiritual one.

It's a concert for world-famous Gospel singer "Sinach." She arrived in Belize today and will take the stage tonight in the first of two praise and worship concerts that the council has made free for Belizeans.

This afternoon the singer sat with Mayor Bernard Wagner in a press conference at the Vino Tinto Restaurant to tell us all what to expect when she takes the stage.

When asked about the cost of organizing this free worship concert Mayor Wagner said that due to the city's control of the venue and ability to move traffic, it was far less than was anticipated, but still in what he called the high 5-figure range.
