Adriana Smith, Fine Artist
"I started painting with Kirkland Smith, he has an art school so from about I'd say maybe 16 I knew him and I grew from his student to his colleague now so the exhibition is kind of a dedication to him and how he has driven me for all these years you know."
"It's hard to get different artists especially because we are being inclusive so we have from 8 years old to up and so getting all the artwork from everyone and then you know trying to decide where everything goes so everything is cohesive."
"All of the art shows that I put together I like to be inclusive so not only will you be seeing this, we have sculptures from different artists we have paintings from different artists it's actually an interactive art show so we have this empty canvas over there so the audience can come and they can put their pieces as well into the show we also have music and poetry so we are being inclusive of the different forms of art as well."
"I just want everyone to know that art is more than just looking at a piece of pairing art is experience and art is a feeling and I believe that as a community, Belize we need to be more we need to dive into art more."
The show begins at 7:00.
