There is an electronic wheelchair sitting in the Continental Airlines Office tonight without an owner and the good news is that if you have a child in need of a wheelchair it could be yours.
Continental Airlines' Indira Jones advises parents to drop by their office for a fitting.
Indira Jones, Continental Airlines
"An interested parent out there we would just like to them to visit our office and they can review the wheel chair and we can just make sure that the child can fit in that chair. It would be best if the parent can come in with the child or with his or her pediatrician and we can check this wheelchair to see if it fits the need of the child. And like I said if this one doesn't work, we can try our best to see if we can accommodate that child with a wheel chair in the future. It is just some information we need from the mother and I am sure we will be able to help that child as that is one of our main focus here at Continental Airlines; we work with needy children."
The wheel chair is Continental's Office on Regent Street. The wheel chair is valued at US $3,000 and was donated by the Wheels for Humanity Charity Group out of California.
