Was the KHMH Negligent in Baby's Death?

Two weeks ago we reported on the case of baby girl Graziela Perez who died while recovering from surgery at the KHMH.

There's been a long silence since that first report when her father alleged that the hospital's medical malpractice caused the death. KHMH Public Relations Officer Gary Ayuso today told us that the matter is being investigated and a thorough revision of the case is being made from the point of admission to the point where she died.

Graziela had swallowed an earing and had it removed at Universal Health Services, but to cut down on costs, was then transferred to the KHMH where she died when she woke from anesthesia and choked on the entubation tube that was in her lung.
