That protest vote would likely require a high turnout, and there at least is one point on which the Leader of the opposition and the Minister of Home Affairs can agree.

This afternoon when we asked Kareem Musa about the projected turnout in his constituency he told us that he's hoping for 65 to 70 percent.

"What's going to be the turnout tomorrow in Caribbean Shores?"

Hon. Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs
"As you know tomorrow is the city council election and we are looking forward to it and we are very energized and so tomorrow while it is not a general election we still expect the numbers to be fairly high. We are hoping for at least 65-70% turnout. As you know we recently had a re-registration exercise in 2018 and so the list is fairly fresh and so everybody is expected to turn out tomorrow. We are encouraging everybody to turn out to exercise your franchise to vote."
