Barrow also plans to meet with the Prime Minister of Grenada - who is form the opposing party. And he also recently reunited with his one-time mentor and label boss, Sean P Diddy Combs. We asked him why he's so embraced by these legends - but not so much back here at home:

Jules Vasquez
"The type of praise and admiration that that Sean P Diddy Combs gives you. Nobody in a Belize won't do the same. Is this something that you struggle with?"

Shyne Barrow, Leader of the Opposition
"I get the same type of love that Diddy is showing me. I get that from people all across Belize."

"When people see me, the embrace is real, not for no Shyne, no rapper. I'm okay with that. Belize has never been a celebrity culture. We don't appreciate our entertainers the way that we should. Our Super G's, our Lord Rhaburns, the way that we should. I think they should all be millionaires or at least having a very comfortable life for entertainers and our athletes. We're not there yet. I hope that we could get there."

"I'm okay. I'm not Shyne. I'm cool. I don't need to be what I was. I'm very comfortable with who I am and the business of politics is not to be lauded and for people to worship me. The business of politics is to get things done, is to deliver. But the love that I feel out there is real and that's why I got re-elected, brother Vazquez."
