So, as you've seen tonight - Fonseca has a LOT on his plate. He's the latest incarnation of the "Minister of Everything." Dean Barrow did it for Manuel Esquivel in the 90's, then Godwin Hulse did it for Dean Barrow in the aughts.

It's what basically happens when a Prime Minister runs out of people he can trust for honesty and rely on to get things done.

So, nothing new there, and this time it's Fonseca doing the heavy lifting for PM Briceno. Today we asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign trade, Education, Culture Science at Technology how he's been keeping up within his thick portfolio. He calls it a tremendous workload.

Francis Fonseca, Minister of Foreign Affairs & Foreign Trade
"You know I am the minister of foreign affairs, and so absolutely I am engaged on the issue, but I am very grateful for minister Courtenay's support, and his leadership on that issue. It just makes sense. He has been involved with this matter for more than 20+ years he has the tremendous knowledge and expertise in this area we would be foolish to not take advantage of that opportunity, and having him remain in engaged on the ICJ issue so of course, he keeps me brief I think in the next two weeks, he will be going to London for some meetings, and I will be fully briefed on those meetings and engaged in those meetings I will not be able to go myself because I will be at CARICOM heads of government meeting that issue in terms of the ministry of my working relationship with the CEO is very good. I think we have a great relationship, and I look forward to strengthening that relationship. CEO Mai has tremendous tremendous experience, and I am benefiting from that knowledge and experience, and I am very grateful for her partnership in this job. Workload tremendous workload. Absolutely. I won't deny that. I have not had a free minute for myself since January 1 but it's very challenging. It's also very exhilarating, very exciting. As you all know I am very passionate about education culture but I am also a student of foreign policies so I am very passionate about that as well and international affairs so it's been a very difficult transition for me and I've enjoyed it. I've enjoyed it so foreign affairs and foreign trade and I look forward to learn and we have wonderful teams. Both ministries are of great support to me."
