By the time you wake up tomorrow, Tropical Storm LISA will likely be a hurricane - churning steadily towards Belize's coastline.
And that's why tonight, all of Belize is under a Hurricane Warning, with the RED - II flag is flying. This means that a hurricane is likely to make landfall within 24 hours.
The 6:00 pm update on the storm shows that it is 285 miles east of Belize City and moving west at 15 miles per hours, with maximum winds of 65 miles per hour.
The center of the storm will move near or over the Bay Islands of Honduras early tomorrow, and into Belize late on Wednesday.
We note that the 3:00 pm forecast for the area of projected landfall was adjusted about 15-20 Miles north of the previous one with the model guidance nudging in that direction. So, it's jogging a little more north from the projected landfall which was initially just south of Dangriga.
