And as with every storm, BEL also has tips to keep residents and their homes safe and to ensure they are prepared for possible power outages caused by damage to transmission, trees falling on power lines, or lightning strikes. And while they're not expecting power lines to be downed, they're encouraging everyone to report if they see them fallen or damaged so that the company can address them and restore power as soon as possible.
