Fisheries Caught A Lotta Illegal Conch

Reports are sketchy tonight, but 7News has confirmed that the Fisheries Department made a major bust of illegal conch in Belize's southern waters.

As many as 840 conch were reportedly found in the company of fibers planning to sell into he Honduran market. The accused persons were taken before the Independence Magistrate today where they were fined $17,000 dollars. Additionally all their fishing gears was confiscated.
