And, that wasn't the end of it. A 21 year old Hattieville man was shot up at 9:00 this morning - reportedly as many as 8 times - but he survived.
Ozen Rhaburn was at a friend's house on the outskirts of HattievIlle, when a shooter came and opened fire. Police told us more:...

"This morning at about 9a.m., police visited an area located in the Hattieville Village known as Farmer's Site where they observed a male person by the name of Ozen Rhaburn with gunshot injuries to his body. Police were able to transport him to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he is presently undergoing surgery and is in a critical, but stable condition."
"What we understand is that Mr. Rhaburn was inside of a residence this morning along with other persons when somebody approached them and fired shots in their direction which resulted in him receiving the injuries. I believe that so far police have detained one person who is in custody at the Hattieville station."
As you heard, Rhaburn is critical but stable after undoing emergency surgery. We know that police had suspected he would be targeted in a shooting - and for that reason had taken him into protective custody two nights ago. This may all be related to a recent killing in the village.
