And while NEAB is asking churchgoers to uphold the law, some thieves broke it by stealing over fourteen thousand dollars worth of equipment from the Forestry Department in Belmopan.

The department held the equipment in their store room on Forest Drive, which was burglarised sometime between Friday evening at 5 and Monday morning at 7.

Fourteen Stihl and Poulan chainsaws valued at one thousand dollars each were stolen, along with some office equipment. The police have been ordered to confiscate any of the items if they are recovered and to detain any persons involved.
