And King wasn't the only teenager to be shot today. At around 2:00 this afternoon, 15-year-old Cassman Gill was shot several times on Magazine Road while he was walking. It's a busy area near an always crowded bank, but that did not deter the gunman who rode towards him on a bicycle and opened fire. He was able to escape while Gill was trundled into the back of a pickup rushed to the KHMH where he was admitted in a critical condition.
The gunman rode off towards Bank Street - and the shooting is believed to be gang related. This morning's victim, Kanye King was from Bank Street.
