Tonight, police are investigating another set of criminals targeting a gas station on the Phillip Goldson highway. Last week Friday, it was robbers ambushing a manager as he stepped outside the Uno gas station beside A&R, and early this morning it was a burglary at PUMA at mile two where thieves stole the entire safe!

When police responded to reports of a burglary at the gas station they met the security guard who explained that at 2:30 AM, while sitting in front of the gas station's main entrance, he was ambushed by five masked men, three of them carrying firearms. One of the men pointed a gun at him and forced him to the back of the building.

Two of the intruders then broke a window, allowing four of them to climb inside, while one stayed outside to guard him. About ten minutes later, the men exited through the same window carrying a black metal vault with a keypad, containing an undisclosed amount of cash. They also took the security guard's cellphone before jumping the fence behind the building and escaping.

Police lifted fingerprints, and observed surveillance cameras in the vicinity as part of the ongoing investigation.
