And the San Ignacio Santa Elena Town Council is stepping up by hosting a prayer and candlelight vigil tomorrow evening at Macal Park to pray for peace. Mayor Trapp calls on members of the community to come out:
Earl Trapp, SISE Mayor
"I have already initiated the invitation to some churches but what we want to do is we want to extend invitation to all the churches throughout this community. We want to extend invitation to the family and friends of the victims that were a part of this violence this morning. We want to extend invitation to every resident in this municipality to come out tomorrow evening at 7pm from 7 to 9 it will be a night of vigil at the Macal Park and we want all the churches, family, friends and residents to come out and join hand together and pray for peace and for unity in this community and the country by extension. I think it's pass overdue that our country come together more often and in this light and one that will seek God more because I believe that we have been losing the basic principles of the word you know so I think it's key that we come together and pray for at least for a united community and country."
