And who Trapp will definitely need is former Cayo North Area Rep Omar Figueroa - who said he was disrespected at the National Party Council.
Trapp said that even after walking away, Figueroa has vouched to support him in the next election:
Earl Trapp, SISE Mayor
"You see, Omar may have sent in the resignation if he would have resigned and left San Ignacio for good then that will put a dent on us but he has his reasons why he did and that will be revealed very soon. But Omar has already pledged his full support for this town council in the next Municipal Elections."
Jaleeza Roberts -
"And do you understand his reasons after he stated them to you? Do you support it?"

Earl Trapp, SISE Mayor
"I do, yes I support his reasons and I believe that in any leadership listening and humility is of key and I have said it to some of my leaders and I will say it to the country now to the world that in any organization we might not be seeing, as individuals, be seeing eye to eye but we have to realize that we work as a team and as a team, each individual brings his own strength because we are not perfect we have some weaknesses but we have to be more optimistic and look at the strength of each individual other than looking at the weaknesses. Put the strength together to fight the enemy and that will help us to overcome our enemies. So I think that is something we are lacking as leaders in our country. We just look at it as oh this person doesn't wanna work with me, it's not that this person doesn't wanna work with me, we don't want a leader that is yes sir yes sir that doesn't work for me. I don't believe in that, so long as the leaders that surround you as the main head are aligned with your vision with your purpose I guess and I believe that you must do your part in trying your best to understand that and those individuals."
