Yesterday when Shyne Barrow landed in Belize, he mentioned that he would be visiting some of his UDP colleagues. Among those colleagues is expected to be mayor Trapp who says that the UDP needs all the help they can get.
Trapp said he would welcome a visit from his former leader:
Earl Trapp, SISE Mayor
"Oh ofcourcse ofcourse, I think the honorable Shyne is, he's a celebrity and one may have judged. We can judge a person but when you judge a person and maybe you would say alright we don't want A let's put B. A goes, B comes in and B might have come in and you see more wrongs in B than A you know so at the end of the day no one is perfect and I believe that anyone that has aspirations for a post or a position and has that passion for that position to serve it's just a matter of time, it's a matter of perseverance and you just have to go for it and I believe that maybe the honorable shyne has that. He has that aspirations and I think he mentioned it last night and he's yearning for it and I think he's gonna go for it and again with time and perseverance time will tell. Yeah but yes I think if he comes to San Ignacio I will be the first to welcome him to our twin towns because at the end of the day we need everyone. We need Tracy, We need Shyne, We need Omar, We need Alberto August, we need the whole set. We need everybody to win so I will welcome him to be a part. Definitely."
