He recently posted pictures from a meeting in his Constituency meeting where it says, quote, "Mai shared about his withdrawal from Cabinet, and there were reports about projects in the constituency….The meeting;s highlight was some sharing by PM John Briceño, who spoke about the importance of Agriculture for the economy and the way Hon. Jose Abelardo Mai has transformed the sector." End quote.

It is widely expected that if he can, the PM will bring Mai back to CABINET in a year.
