And while the AG doesn't know much about that agreement we also asked him about the Jerry Enriquez application to apply for judicial review to challenge the decision made by the Judicial and Legal Services Commission which dismissed the complaint against Justice Tawanda Hondora:

Anthony Sylvester, Attorney General

"It started with the application for constitutional challenge for the election. That started in March. And then during that, we have not gone to the substantive hearing as yet. And then there were subsequently 3 decisions that were made by the judge and those were appealed. A Court of Appeal heard those in October. And now they have subsequently been heard by the CCJ. It's part of the challenges Mr Enriquez made: a challenge to whether that judge Justice Hondora should properly continue sitting as a judge. And our condition provides that such a complaint, that is to be submitted to the Judicial Legal Service Commission for their consideration and determination. So they consider and determined that now because AG's ministry was part of the case and although we constitutionally are a member of the commission we did not participate in that deliberation. Of course, so they made the determination. And what I understand is that they did not find a Prima Facie case as it is referred to. So Mr Enriquez - as is his right - he is taking it to the High Court to say, look the Commission was wrong and we wish for you to review that decision, that is why it has been referred to a judicial review."
