Veteran Cyclist Santi Takes A Race Spill, Gets Punctured Lung/Concussion

And, in other news, well known former politician and veteran cyclist Santiago "Santino" Castillo is reported to be recovering in the hospital after a nasty spill yesterday in a Weekend Warrior Race that left him with a collapsed lung.

Reports say that they were westbound between mile 11 and 12 on the George Price Highway when a younger cyclist rode in front of him and he hit the wheel and had an awkward fall. Reports say he fractured 7 ribs which punctured his lung - and that he had a concussion.

According to reports it's a serious concussion and he remains hospitalized. He is stable and recovering but still disoriented from what we are told.
