On October 1st, the CARICOM free movement agreement officially came into effect among four Caribbean countries, with Belize as one of them.

Statistic released today by the Ministry ofForeign Affairs show that since then, 45 CARICOM nationals have freely entered Belize. Only two of them will remain here for employment purposes. As it relates to the others, 33 were for business, 5 for tourism, 3 for sports, 1 diplomatic, and 1 returning national.

34 of them are Barbadian, 8 of them were Vincentians, and 3 were Dominicans.
