And while Barrow knelt before Price's grave, one of the Father of the Nation's arch-loyalists is speaking against the PUP tonight. In a letter printed in the Reporter Newspaper, Norris Hall claims that the funding for the People's Constitution Commission has dried up, and that that means the work of the PCC has been suspended.
Multiple credible sources have confirmed to 7News that funding is being withheld at the Central government level. One of those sources told us that commissioners are owed gas allowance, and not even the VP has been reimbursed. Zone leaders are also tasked with doing their duty without the resources needed, and there is no national budget for the zones - and this is only the surface of the issues the PCC is facing.
Hall's letter calls on, quote, "the heavy hitters in the outer Cabinet… Francis Fonseca, Cordel Hyde, Julius Espat and others, to… save the People's Party from the current leadership." End quote.
