Tonight, the UDP is seizing on the issue and calling on Prime Minister Briceno to address what it calls, quote "the crises in the Judiciary that his incompetent attorney general refuses to acknowledge." A release adds, quote, "The crown counsels' sick out that Attorney General Anthony Sylvestre refuses to accept as industrial action is a result of this administration's continued abuse and disrespect of the public officers of Belize."

"And what the Attorney General did is quintessential PUP, deflect, deny, dither. Oh, is it really hot? no man. You di imagine that it's hot. It's because of social media. It's because of a Jules Vasquez, why you feel this has been one of the hottest years ever."
"They're just deniers. And so you can't have any solution with a political organization that is in complete denial. They have not accepted any shortcoming as to their policy implementation, their prioritization."
"Everything they do is right and everyone else is wrong."
